Mission Statement

Through God’s grace, we will begin building with our children a God-centered foundation.

We Will:

Welcome to FPC and to Children’s Ministries, where arms and hearts are always open! As our mission statement says, our focus is to help our children build that most important foundation of faith and to celebrate God’s love together. Your children may begin their faith journey here in our nursery, where they’ll discover that God loves them and that we love them too.

In Sunday School, children learn the stories of our faith and of our gracious God. Together we answer the questions “what is this story telling me about God” and “what is this telling me about how I should live?” In our Sunday morning Children’s Church and through service in choir, children experience the joy and strength of a church family united in praise.

On Wednesday afternoons in LOGOS, children learn even more about being “a child of God.” Young and the not so young alike enjoy an afternoon of sharing, playing, learning and growing with their friends and church family. This describes what Children’s Ministries truly is at FPC; an invitational, intergenerational ministry, that welcomes all God’s children. Children’s Ministries may be where YOU find YOUR place to serve, to share, to shine and grow. We’re ready and waiting to welcome you and yours to this family of God. Come celebrate with us.
