We are currently faced with trying to furnish 2025 meals/day and our shelves are almost empty. So far, Helping Hand has served almost as many people as they did 2010.

Foodstuffs most needed: CEREAL, PEANUT BUTTER, JELLY, RICE (ONE POUND BAGS), MAC/CHEESE, SOUP, PORK AND BEANS, DEODORANT, OATMEAL, CANNED FRUITS, CANNED VEGETABLES EXCEPT GREEN BEANS. Food may be taken to the back door of Helping Hand or dropped off at First Presbyterian Church.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Have a few hours to give, Helping Hand needs your help. Serve on weekly or bi-weekly basis or fill in as a sub.
Training will be provided! Contact Adrian Weatherwax.
  • Cover the front desk, greeting clients, gathering information, answering phones, and doing a small amount of filing.
Available shifts: 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM;
11:30 AM - 2:00 PM; 2:00 PM - 4:45 PM
  • Help at mail/phone center; dial for clients, hand out mail. Available shift: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Pantry Worker to stock shelves and prepare grocery list for clients.
Available shifts: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM;
12:30 PM - 4:45 PM
 
 
 
MOBILE MEALS OF MYRTLE BEACH
 
 
Volunteers needed to serve as board members and
as drivers for Friday mornings. If you wish to assist with either of these positions or for additional information,
