All proceeds donated to SOS for the upkeep and maintenance of Sertoma Building recently offered to SOS to house their programs.

Grand Strand Housing, a non-profit organization that assists seniors with housing needs, is looking for volunteers to help with light office work (scanning, copying, filing etc.).

Your Help is always needed and appreciated as we furnish meals to those in need. THANK YOU!

Foodstuffs most needed: CEREAL, PEANUT BUTTER, JELLY, RICE (ONE POUND BAGS), MAC/CHEESE, SOUP, PORK AND BEANS, DEODORANT, OATMEAL, CANNED FRUITS, CANNED VEGETABLES EXCEPT GREEN BEANS. Food may be taken to the Helping Hand back door or First Presbyterian Church.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Have a few hours to give, Helping Hand needs your help. Serve on weekly or bi-weekly basis or fill in as a sub.
Training will be provided! Contact Adrian Weatherwax.
  • Cover the front desk, greeting clients, gathering information, answering phones, and doing a small amount of filing.
Available shifts: 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM;
11:30 AM - 2:00 PM; 2:00 PM - 4:45 PM
  • Help at mail/phone center; dial for clients, hand out mail. Available shift: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Pantry Worker to stock shelves and prepare grocery list for clients.
Available shifts: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM;
12:30 PM - 4:45 PM
 
 
 
MOBILE MEALS OF MYRTLE BEACH
 
 
Volunteers needed to serve as board members and
as drivers for Friday mornings. If you wish to assist with either of these positions or for additional information,
