Throughout the year, the Abundant Life Ministry presents seminars and workshops on a variety of topics.
This free, bi-monthly support group offers on-going support to those that are grieving a loss resulting from the death of a loved one, friend, or family member. This is not just for those that have lost a spouse. Gain support from others experiencing the same feelings as you. It’s a safe, confidential place to learn new ideas that may help you feel better.
OFFERED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR ~ This free, six session, weekly educational group explores such issues as understanding the stages of grief, surviving stress and loneliness, realistic grief recovery, spiritual elements of grief, the value of memories, and developing a supportive environment. Each week a different topic will be covered. Periods of instruction, sometimes including a video presentation, will be followed by confidential discussion. We offer a variety of exercise classes, so come on, join us, GET FIT, MEET NEW FRIENDS, and HAVE FUN!
Low impact activity that is great for movement and weight loss. No dressing facilities available; please come prepard for the pool. Bring a water "noodle" and a towel. Class size is limited to 10 participants. A signed waiver is required in case of an accident. Class instructor, Sylvia Selby, is certified and bonded with over 10 years experience.

Are you caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s or Dementia? Or do you want to help a friend who is dealing with Alzheimer’s? We invite you to join our Support Group and learn new ways to deal with some of the problems.
FPC Alzheimer's Support Group meets year-round. Come discuss your needs and/or better ways of caring or your loved one. This support group is designed for the earlier stages of Alzheimer's when your loved one is still living in your home. Alzheimer's Association of SouthCarolina is working closely with this group.
