Youth Music Opportunities

Grades 6th - 12th

First Presbyterian offers choir and handbell programs for youth in grades 6th - 12th. Choirs lead in worship and on festival days during the year. In the spring, an entire Sunday morning worship is dedicated to our youth program. Youth Choir

Members assume musical leadership in worship more frequently than the younger choirs. Youth choir strives to improve musicianship while singing a varied repertoire.

Rehearsal: Sundays, 5:00-5:45 PM

High School Youth Handbells

Grades 9 - 12

Ringing five octaves of handbells and four octaves of chimes, youth develop ringing and music reading skills through weekly rehearsals in this advanced choir. They ring monthly as part of worship as well as other venues.

Ringerific Bells

Middle School Youth Handbell Choir

New handbell opportunity for our middle school students - JUST 3 ringing positions open!

1st rehearsal: Sunday, September 16!

Rehearsal: Sundays, 7:00 - 7:30 PM (through March)

Handbell Choir Concert 2013

On March 3, the Chancel Ringers, Youth Handbell Choir, and Ringerific Bells along with other area musicians, will ring a variety of selections from hymn tunes, to jazz, to Broadway!
