The FPC Library Readers Theatre
Readers Theatre may be defined as an oral interpretation or an entertainment where two or more persons are reading a story, a play, a poem, a folktale, or a Bible story. These readers use their voices and body language to reveal the actions, attitudes, and relationships of the characters. Readers Theatre is a flexible dramatic art form operating with minimal stage business and movement, and most often without scenery, props, and costumes. The purpose of Readers Theatre will be to provide entertaining and enlightening reading performances for church audiences; children, youth, adults, and families.
