Presbyterian Women

An Invitation to you . . .

As a Christian, committed to the call of Christ to be his disciple . . .

As a Presbyterian, who find meaning in the fellowship and ministry of the Church . . .

As a person, whose life is filled with responsibilities and obligations to others . . .

As a woman who tries to juggle house duties, job demands and community service, yet often feels overburdened, lonely and her gifts unappreciated and undeveloped . . .

As one who acknowledges the gifts of grace God has given her, and wants to respond in gratitude for these gifts, and use them for God's purposes . . .

First Presbyterian Church of Myrtle Beach has eight circles in the Presbyterian Women's organization. Each circle meets monthly at various locations and times. Ladies meet for breakfast, lunch, dessert or coffee, in homes, restaurants or at the church. Regardless of when or where our circles meet, you can always count on great fellowhsip and lively discussions on the Word and works of God from lessons in our study manuals. Our circles give diligently of their time and energy to our community and worldwide projects during the year. In December and May, all the circles come together for a special meal to celebrate being a part of this great group of women.

You will be welcome to visit or join any circle! Meeting dates, times, and locations are published weekly in our "First Press" Newsletter. If you or someone you know is interested in Joining a circle or have additional questions, please contact Sherrie Neely , Vice-Moderator, or call the church office, 843.448.4496.

Of the monies collected, thirty-three percent is used to support medical missions throughout the world and the remaining sixty-seven percent is used for new creative areas of mission projects.
