Then this information might well be for you! The time has come to share plans for the 2018 Study Tour. By popular request, our next overseas adventure will be to Spain and Portugal. The tradition is for those who have traveled together in the past to help pick future destinations. With much enthusiasm, the group selected Spain. Steeped in religious history, including a Roman Catholic emphasis, this part of the world offers cultural experiences for all of us. Some details are listed below, with the important dates of April 17-27, 2018. If you are interested in more information, including a detailed itinerary, please respond accordingly.
So how did these travel logs begin? Almost fifteen years ago, my church in Greenville, SC, had a group of folks who liked to travel. They asked me to organize and lead their efforts as a church activity. When the Session approved their request as a good use of my time, I gladly agreed. Almost every year since, I have offered a trip for study and fellowship to members (and their family and friends). We usually take about thirty persons, traveling about eleven days total. Since we have moved to Myrtle Beach, Tammy has been able to join me as host. Together we seek to share life and faith with good friends, old and new. Virtually without exception, participants have felt blessed by these experiences. Our cost for leading these events is covered by the tour company that makes the arrangements. You are invited to join the adventure if you like as long as space is available. ¡Viajes Felices!
