FPC Sunday School

SUNDAY SCHOOL: 9:45 – 10:45 AM

During the Sunday School hour, our children have the opportunity to build relationships while engaging in Bible stories that contribute to the promotion of faith formation. Children ages 0-4 are invited to join the nursery.



Children’s Sunday School Returns, Sunday September 11th during our education hour 9:45 to 10:45.


This fall, we have 2 special classes we are offering for children aged 4 years through 5th grade. During the Sunday school hour 9:45-10:45 beginning September 11th through November 6th, children will explore the topics below. On Sunday November 13th, children who have attended 7 of our 9 sessions will be recognized in worship on Sunday November 13th.

  • 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students will receive a Bible of their own on Sunday November 13th.
  • 4 years, K, 1st and 2nd will receive their own worship bag (filled with items to help engage them during worship services)

Learning To Worship God: 4 Years – 2nd Grade

Why do we worship God? How do we worship God? Are both questions children will explore in this class.

Children will learn the parts of worship including the 2 sacraments of our faith: baptism and communion.

Learning To Use My Bible: 3rd – 5th Grade

Children will explore the history of our scriptures and learn skills that will help our young disciples become more knowledgeable the Bible!

Children will explore the books of the Bible in addition to the history of how the Bible became the holy book we read today.

We will meet in Rm 204 (The Growing Tree Kindergarten Classroom).

To commit to participating in these classes to be recognized in worship on November 13th register your children with the links above


** All Children 4 years through 5th grades are welcome to attend Sunday School anytime. Even if you do not commit to these classes, your children can join in anytime.


While your children are in Sunday school, classes for adults also will be taking place.

Nathan See leads a Sunday School class mainly attended by parents and young adults. They will meet in classroom A206 second floor of education wing.
